Threshold Initiative turned the vision of UKCAE into commercial reality.
UKCAE is a not-for-profit membership organisation whose role is to help deliver equality at work
- UKCAE needed to achieve its strategic goals at minimal cost
Threshold Initiative is the management support company for UKCAE, bound by an ongoing service level agreement measured by performance.
Threshold Initiative project-managed a paper-concept into business-reality at low cost within a short timeframe and:
- facilitated the formation of UKCAE;
- defined its core and non-core services;
- managed and outsourced all non-core operations;
- allowing UKCAE to focus on its core income-generating membership access and equality advisory service;
- broadened UKCAE's remit from disability to equality at work;
- developed consultation and research mechanisms;
- reated high-level strategic alliances with key players within the Government, Public, Private and Third Sectors;
- developed Founder and Council of Reference membership;
- designed and developed the concept and framework for delivery of the business advisory tool;
- identified and provided solutions for gaps in certification, audit and learning delivery; and
- developed membership and information resource databases.
Threshold Initiative allowed UKCAE to be flexible in its structure and agile in its response to:
- the market
- legislative changes and requirements
- its members
- the end-user
